SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The wife of an innocent man who was killed during a police chase has announced she will be hosting a balloon release honoring her husband. Darrin Lewis was hit and killed by a car that was fleeing police. His wife, Kathy, spoke to WSAV previously, remembering the man she calls her soulmate. “I would describe him first as humble,” she said. “He was so humble. He was a jokester. He was that person that you like to be around. He was positive. He was a role model. He was that man that every girl dreamed of.” There will be a balloon release on April 9, Darrin's birthday.
