Newsweek, an American weekly news magazine, recently compiled the top ten aquariums in the United States for 2025. Birch Aquarium, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, pl aced No. 4 on the list, offering exhibits like Embodied Pacific Ocean Unseen, the Beyster Family Little Blue Penguins, Blue Beach, Riveropolis, seadragons and seahorses, sharks and rays and Tide Pool Plaza. Additional sea creatures to catch sight of include coral, leopard sharks and weedy seadragons. The only other California aquarium to make the list is Monterey Bay Aquarium in Northern California at No. 7. Birch Aquarium also offers web cams of penguins, kelp, seadragons and Scripps Pier.
