(KRON) – The experts have spoken, and a San Francisco establishment was recognized as one of the top bars in the U.S. Trick Dog in the Mission District was ranked No. 8 in the top ten cocktail bars by Food & Wine magazine.
The James Beard Award finalist bar Trick Dog, according to Food &
; Wine, has an ever-changing drink menu. The bar has a variety of diverse and innovative drinks that often involve a theme.
At the time of this report, the theme is “The Circus under the Big Tent.” The menu includes the drink Globe of Death, which has Dewar’s whisky, Appleton Estate rum, rancio sec, banana, maple, butter and salt. Another interesting cocktail on the menu is The Fire Eater with Grey Goose vodka, T’Amaro date eau de vie, cashew, chipotle, cherrywood smoke, thyme and lemon.

The previous theme was “Dogs, The Musical” with a playbill menu.
Trick Dog was also named one of the top U.S. cocktail bars by the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards. The cocktail bar was also recognized by the World’s 50 Best Bars.
