EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Six reports of burned fingers and two reports of property damage led to the recall of about 29,000 Room2Room LED Iridescent Bear Lights.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the power switch on the USB cord can overheat and melt, posing fire and burn h
azards. There have been 28 reports of that happening to date, including the six injuries and burns to a wall and a headboard.
The recalled lights have model number LD-0030 and UPC 1922340368444 printed on the bottom. They were sold for about $12 at Five Below stores nationwide and online from September 2024 through February 2025, according to the CPSC.
Consumers should stop using the lights and return them to any Five Below store or contact the company for a full refund. The lights should then be thrown out.
