BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Meet this week's Pet of the Week: Iron Man! Iron Man is a young, Doberman Pinscher-style dog who has only been at the shelter for a couple of months, according to Brian McLaughlin with the Bakersfield SPCA. McLaughlin says Iron Man was an owner surrender and he had been around a family with little children. He is protective and playful. Pet of the Week: Squirrel McLaughlin also says that Iron Man has a big bark, if you're lucky enough to hear it.
