MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Students, faculty and staff at a high school in Montgomery County were sheltering in place due to gunshots reportedly being fired in the area on Friday. In a post made on social media just before 12:30 p.m., the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said officers were investigating shots fired in the 10300 block of Apple Ridge Road.
