MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Two teens are facing charges after police found a loaded gun during a traffic stop in Montgomery County on Wednesday, according to police.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said officers were in the Glenmont Shopping Center area when they n
oticed a Honda make a traffic violation.
Officers tried to pull the vehicle over, but the driver refused to stop.
Police said that when the car eventually came to a stop, a 16-year-old boy, who was sitting in the back, tried to run but was taken into custody.

While searching the car, police found a loaded gun in the back seat, on the floor.
A 17-year-old, who was also sitting in the back, was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
Police said both teens were arrested for multiple handgun charges.
