ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Actor John de Lancie, most notably known for his role as Q in Star Trek, will narrate a Seuss classic alongside the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO). Dr. Seuss' "The Sneetches" will be performed for Storytime in Your PJs, a night for the family to enjoy de Lancie' s narration accompanied by the RPO's performance of the story's original score written by Lorenzo Palmo. His acting credits include roles in "Captains and the Kings," "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic," the daytime soap opera "Days of Our Lives," and the drama "Breaking Bad." de Lancie has also performed with the New York Philharmonic, National Orchestra, and others. The event is Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at the Hochstein Performance Hall, 50 North Plymouth Avenue. Ticket availability is limited, prices are $10 for children and $20 for adults. The event will also celebrate National Library Day, allowing ticketholders to arrive early at 1 p.m. for activities and library card signups.
