FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was found dead near a damaged pickup truck down a steep embankment in Mariposa County on Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP says around 11:50 a.m. officers received a call of a traffic collision on Bear Valley Road near Hunters Valley.  When the officers arrived, they found the truck about 100 feet down a steep embankment.
