(KRON) -- The Solano County Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest was made Thursday after receiving a tip last month about a Vacaville resident downloading and distributing child pornography. A search warrant was served on March 6 at a residence in the 7000 block of Paddon Road in Vacaville after authorities received the tip. During the search, law enforcement seized several cell phones and computers to undergo forensic examination, according to the sheriff’s office. (Solano County Sheriff's Office) “Additional evidence” was found during the forensic searches of the devices, SCSO said, and the case was submitted to the Solano County District Attorney’s Office. An arrest warrant for the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Edgar “Cataleya” Aguirre, was issued. On Thursday, Aguirre was taken into custody and booked into the Solano County Jail on 11 counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
