Police arrest man wanted out of Woonsocket after chase

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A man accused of leading police on a chase through multiple towns was arrested Thursday in Providence.
Jesse Marinaro, 34, was wanted by Woonsocket police on charges of eluding law enforcement (sixth offense), violation of a no-contact order (fourth offense), domestic
disorderly conduct, and operating on a suspended license.
BACKGROUND: Motorcyclist rode wrong way on I-295 during pursuit
Police were originally called Wednesday to a home on Social Street for a report of a man violating a no-contact order.

Marinaro allegedly fled on a motorcycle when officers arrived. Police said officers pursued Marinaro through Cumberland and onto I-295.
Dashcam video provided to 12 News showed a motorcycle traveling the wrong way on the highway at one point.
Marinaro was arraigned in court Friday morning.
Police said he also had an outstanding warrant out of Woonsocket for a shoplifting charge. In addition, he is wanted out of Attleboro for an alleged sexual assault.
He is also facing the following charges out of Providence and Cumberland:
Possession of a schedule I to V controlled substance (first offense)
Resisting legal or illegal arrest
Obstructing officer in execution of duty
Simple assault and/or battery
Disorderly conduct
Eluding law enforcement, vehicle in a high speed pursuit (second offense)
Obstructing officer in execution of duty
Driving with suspended/revoked/cancelled license (4th offense)
Marinaro was held without bail.
