MUNCIE, Ind. -- A Muncie man has been arrested after he reportedly sold meth in two transactions involving confidential sources from the Muncie Police Department, one of which reportedly occurred on April Fools' Day.
According to court documents filed in Delaware County on Friday, 28-year-old Jo
rdan Bonner has been preliminarily charged with:
Two counts of dealing in methamphetamine over 10 grams, each a Level 2 felony
One count of felon possession of a handgun, a Level 5 felony
On Feb. 5, investigators with the Muncie Delaware County Drug Task Force arranged for a confidential source to purchase methamphetamine from Bonner. Bonner reportedly met with the source at a business on the north side of Muncie and the transaction occurred.
The documents said that the source turned over a clear bag to police that reportedly contained a crystal-like substance. The substance, which later tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed around 28 grams, was reportedly sold to the source from Bonner during the transaction.

On April 1, investigators organized another transaction with a confidential source involving Bonner. The documents said that Bonner reportedly directed the source to meet him at a home in the 4100 block of S Pinewood.
At the home, the source reportedly received a baggie from Bonner containing around 28 grams of a substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine. During both transactions, investigators reportedly provided the sources with money for the drugs.
On Thursday, investigators took Bonner into custody after he was located in a vehicle at a gas station in Muncie.
"Money that was located on the back seat (of the vehicle) matched some of the previously photocopied buy along with money that was in his picked at the time of arrest," the court documents said.
In a search of the Pinewood home, they reportedly located baggies with residue, along with scales and two handguns. The documents said that Bonner is a convicted felon prohibited from having a firearm. ...read more read less
