UPDATE: Interstate 10 West at Chelsea has reopened as of about 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 4 after a semi crash closed the highway for hours overnight, the Texas Department of Transportation said. EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A crash involving three semitrucks has closed down part of Interstate 10 in Cen tral El Paso on Friday morning, April 4. The crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. Friday, April 4 at Chelsea and Interstate 10 West, a Fire Department spokesman said. A crash involving several semitrucks shutdown I-10 West at Chelsea on Friday morning, April 4. All lanes remain closed on westbound I-10 at the crash site. TxDOT estimates clearing time is until further notice. A Fire Department spokesperson said there were no transports from the crash.
