Baton Rouge police arrest suspect in Avenue E shooting that left one dead

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department has made an arrest in a shooting that killed a man on Tuesday, April 1.
Police were called to the 10,000 block of Avenue E around 7:45 p.m. BRPD said James Williams, 80, died at the scene.
Police will release the identit
y of the suspect during a press conference at 1:45 p.m. Friday. This is a developing story.
