AUSTIN (KXAN) — This weekend, the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) will close the southbound on-ramp to MoPac from Steck Avenue as part of its 183 North Mobility Project. "The project team will be closing this entrance ramp continuously (24 hours a day) to complete the nece ssary work in this area," said CTRMA in a press release. "Crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to reopen access to southbound MoPac from this location, however, the closure is anticipated to last through the remainder of 2025." The southbound on-ramp from Spicewood Springs Road will remain open and provide drivers with a detour option. The southbound off-ramp from MoPac to Steck Avenue is already closed for construction.
