HS Softball Wrap: CR North blanks Pennsbury in Pennsy action; West Windsor United among CVC winners

FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. – The Council Rock North softball team had another strong showing on Thursday, raising its record to 7-2 with an 8-0 victory over Pennsbury.
Freshman Mia Kiskurno continued to impress with a four-hitter and five strikeouts. Rock North collected 16 hits with Kiskurno, Zoe Horn
stein and Zoe Hardy all banging out three apiece. Chelsea Seiler drove in two runs and had two hits along along with Kayla Ripper. Sierra Klein also doubled.

LANSDALE,. Pa. – No problem here for the Eagles, who improved to 4-3 with this win in five innings. Avery Kenworthy continued to swing a hot bat with three hits and two RBIs as Conwell-Egan collected 13 hits in all. Lily Milewski drove in three runs, and Cecilia McBeth doubled. Grace Bilardo each had two hits and homered. Lauren Berard got the win with a one-hitter and six strikeouts.

Allentown 12, Princeton 1
PRINCETON – Kelsey Loughlin did it all for the Redbirds, picking up the pitching win with a four-hitter and 10 strikeouts, and also going 3-for-4 at the plate with a double. In addition, Kayla Prekop was 4-for-4 and Makynna Williams belted a home run. Allentown is 2-0 and it was the first game for Princeton.

BRISTOL TWP., Pa. – Maysie Thompson got the pitching win with plenty of offensive support. Erica Dalton, Lily Mormello abd Frankie Fee combined for five hits lower in the order. One of Dalton’s hits was a triple. Thomson threw a three-hitter and struck out nine.

TRENTON – Sofia Hulme collected three hits and four RBIs to help lift the Rams to 2-1. Olivia Pignatello.and Adriana Cepeda Cepeda also had three hits. Trenton got singles by Delianna Marte and Quasia Pitman.
