BOSTON (WPRI) — After starting the season on a seven-game road trip, the Boston Red Sox are finally back home.

Friday's game marks the start of Boston's 114th season at the historic ballpark.
Before the first pitch, members of the 1975 Red Sox will be brought on the field to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their American League pennant victory.
They will also honor franchise Hall of Famer Luis Tiant, who was an important member of that club. He died last October at 83 years old.
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 1:30 p.m. for the pregame festivities, which include player introductions, a presentation of the colors, a flyover, and the national anthem performed by the Boston Arts Academy "Treble Allstars."
First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 p.m.
