Three people were injured, two of them critically, in a car crash Thursday night in the Avalon Park neighborhood.A 62-year-old man was driving east on East 86th Street in a white sport utility vehicle about 8:20 p.m. when he hit a white sedan that was traveling north on South Stony Island Avenue, Ch icago police said.The man and a 63-year-old woman in his car were both taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.The 18-year-old man driving the sedan suffered minor injuries and was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.No citations have been issued.
