FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A beloved carnicería and taquería, which was recognized in 2023 as one of the best in Central California, is expanding with a new restaurant in Downtown Fresno.
Officials say Los Primos Restaurant y Taquería is set to hold its grand opening ceremony for their newes
t location in Downtown Fresno. The restaurant will be an expansion of the "beloved" family-owned Los Pirmos Carnicería y Taquería, which has been serving Fresno since Jan. 1, 2002.
The business, according to officials, will remain family-operated and will continue its "tradition of serving authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine."
Officials with the taquería say their first location, Los Primos Carnería y Taquería has previously earned Bronze in Fresno's Best of Central California 2023, for "Best Butcher, Best Mexican Restaurant and Best Menudo." The family's new restaurant will include dishes like menudo, carnitas, tacos, burritos and more.
The restaurant's grand opening will include live Mariachi music, a raffle with chances to win free food, and dishes like menudo, carnitas, tacos and burritos.
The grand opening will take place at 302 N. Fresno Street in Fresno on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Their hours of operation are Mondays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. They will be closed on Tuesdays. ...read more read less
