(KRON) -- A 67-year-old Santa Cruz County man is accused of committing lewd and lascivious acts against children, as well as dissuading a witness. Deputies arrested Kevin Hurley, of Aptos, on March 21. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said deputies found two victims. "Due to Hurley’s previ ous involvement in a local youth agricultural program, and church group, detectives are looking into the potential for additional victims," the sheriff's office wrote. Kevin Hurley is seen in a March 2025 mugshot released by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office. The investigation into Hurley began after an alleged victim reported a sexual battery that occurred "several years ago," SCCSO wrote.
