Active pattern continues; more storms and flooding risk
Apr 03, 2025
FRIDAY: Finally, a bit of a reprieve from the consistent rain and thunderstorms. While it will NOT be completely dry, there will be more dry breaks in between showers and storms than what we dealt with Wednesday and Thursday. There is a much higher risk of severe weather to our west, but there is at
least a SLIGHT RISK for severe storms, especially in the late afternoon and evening.
SATURDAY: This is a day we need to pay close attention to for another threat of a more substantial risk of severe weather, PLUS a heightened risk of flash flooding. Storms will move in early afternoon and into the evening hours.
Rainfall rates will be high, leading to significant rainfall amounts. There is a HIGH RISK for flooding rainfall.
