MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence Thursday morning after crashing into a cinder block wall in Madera, the California Highway Patrol said.
The driver was determined to be under the influence and had three times the legal limit of
blood alcohol concentration, according to CHP.
CHP says that just after 5 a.m., officers responded to a solo vehicle crash involving a blue Chevrolet S-10 pickup.
According to CHP, an 18-year-old was driving a Chevrolet on Lane Drive in the Walden Drive area.
CHP says he was unable to negotiate the slight curve on the roadway and crashed into a cinder block wall at a nearby residence.
CHP says the 18-year-old was booked into the Madera County Jail. ...read more read less
