Dreary End To Thursday, But (A Little) Sunshine Ahead!
Apr 03, 2025
As expected, it’s been a gray day here in Southern New England. At least it’s been a warm one, too! Temperatures are still in the upper 50s and low 60s, and they won’t dip too much overnight. Lows will be mainly in the low 50s thanks to a strong flow of air from the south. That wind flow is
out ahead of our next cold front, which arrives late tonight and will bring showers, and a few pockets of heavy rain to the area tonight and early tomorrow morning.
Showers fade as we get through Friday morning, leading to what will be a decent day overall! Clouds will slowly decrease throughout the day, and we could see a little sunshine before the sun sets. Highs on Friday will be in the low and mid 60s!
The weekend sends us back on the temperature roller-coaster, and we’ll see the return of wet weather as well. We’ll have showers and some pockets of heavy rain on Saturday, and a few showers lingering on Sunday as well. Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 40s, while Sunday’s will be back in the mid to upper 50s, with a few spots in the low 60s.
A cold front moves through the area Sunday night, driving a few more showers into Monday morning. Monday afternoon should bring some improvement, and temperatures will be in the low 50s.
