UPDATE: April 3 at 5:30 p.m.28-year-old Tyler Taperek from London has been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal crash, the Laurel County Sheriff Office reports.According to a release, Taperek has been charged with lea ving the scene of an accident with a death and was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.The sheriffs office identified the victim as 58-year-old Thomas Williams from Russell Springs.Original Story:The Laurel County Sheriff's Office says they are looking for a vehicle that was reportedly involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning. According to officials, the crash happened around 4:22 a.m. on U.S. 25, where a moped traveling southbound was struck in the rear. As a result, officials say the driver suffered critical injuries and died shortly after at a local hospital.
