Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival returns in June with 4 days of live music

BEAN BLOSSOM, Ind. (WISH) — The longest-running bluegrass festival in the United States announced Thursday it will return to central Indiana in June with four-days of picking, plucking and strumming.

ng featured performances June 11-14 at the Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival. The event is at Bill Monroe’s Music Park & Campground in the unincorporated community of Bean Blossom in Brown County.
Others in the 2025 lineup are Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, the Clay Hess Band, and the Wilson Banjo Co.
Organizers tell people not to fiddle around and delay getting tickets. Attendance some years has totaled up to 50,000. Single-day tickets from $20 to $50, multiple-day tickets for $155 and golf-cart rentals starting at $385 are available online. Admission will be free for children 12 and younger.
Beyond four days of live music, the event offers camping, a military flyover, a veterans’ salute, and a traditional bean dinner. Tickets do not include camping fees and reservations.
Gates will open daily from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. The festival will proceed rain or shine. The park’s address is 5163 N. State Road 135, Morgantown.
Singer-songwriter Bill Monroe, remembered as the “Father of Bluegrass Music” began the festival in 1966. The Kentucky native died in 1996 at age 84.
