"PokeKon Fest" coming to Niagara Falls this summer
Apr 03, 2025
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — “PokeKon Fest,” a one-day Pokémon trade show convention, will be coming to the Sheraton Niagara Falls Hotel on Aug. 3.
The event, described as a “Pokémon collectors’ Mecca” in a press release, will feature a wide variety of exhibits, including Pokémon candy,
cosplay, artwork sketches, and, of course, the famous Pokémon Trading Card Game.
In addition to these exhibitions, a roster of Pokémon “industry professionals and fandom-related celebrities” will be in attendance for a meet-and-greet, including a yet-to-be-announced Pokémon voice actor.
The festival is the first major show in the area for the Japanese media and trading card franchise since the Pokémon Card Show, hosted by Pallet Town Poke Shop, at the end of January last year.
Tickets are on sale now. Admission is $20, and children under 11 get in for free. Anyone interested in being a vendor can still reserve tables, with prices starting at $125 for an Artist Alley table and $160 for a Vendor Table. ...read more read less
