A Naperville high school teacher was charged Thursday with sexually abusing a female student, officials said.William Schaub, an English teacher at Neuqua Valley High School, was arrested Thursday during a traffic stop near his LaGrange home for alleged aggravated criminal sexual abuse and grooming, Naperville police said.On March 7, police said they were notified that Schaub, 56, was having an "inappropriate relationship" with the student. After an investigation, police found inappropriate electronic messages between Schaub and the student from November to last month. The pair also had inappropriate physical contact in December, officials said.Schaub passed a criminal background check when he was hired in 2013, said Indian Prairie School District 203 officials in a statement. "We will be providing services at school for any student who may need support," the school district said.
