The third annual “Sunday Dinner with a PURR-pose” will take place on May 4 to raise funds for the non-profit, mostly cage-less and no-kill Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. The benefit will take place in the Banquet Center of St. Noel, 35200 Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills, and will cost $75 per perso n. Registration will begin at 1:30 p.m. and the event will run from 2 to 5, according to a news release. A family-style Sunday dinner served at 2:30 will feature beef, chicken, salmon and pasta entrees with vegan options available with advance notice. Other items will include salad, vegetable side dishes, desserts, coffee, tea, soft drinks, wine, beer and more. There will also be silent and Chinese auctions and a 50-50 raffle. In addition, there will be entertainment by singer Bobby Leach. “We heard ‘rave reviews’ from the people who attended our last two events at St. Noel’s Banquet Center, and we’re pleased to hold our annual event there again” Happy Tails President James Harris stated in the release. “Our attendees can enjoy a tasty dinner while helping the sanctuary. “We have some adoptable cats, but we are committed as well to caring for senior and special-needs cats, most of whom will spend their lives in our facility or in our foster homes.” Reservations are due by April 27.
