D.C. native Tommy W. purchased the winning lottery ticket at the Tenley Market on Wisconsin Avenue in Northwest. “It hit me hard, I lost my mom and my dog within a short tim eframe,” he recalled. “But, I had a dream just the other day. It told me I was going to be a millionaire. And here it is. It’s real!" The winning numbers for the March 26 drawing were 5-20-29-39-53, and the Powerball was 6.
