Arrest made in Fresno County market robbery, deputies say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday the arrest of a 38-year-old man wanted for an armed robbery outside Easton.
Officials say property crimes detectives arrested Johnny Hernandez of Fresno after an April 1 armed robbery at the Adina Valley Market
, located at 9010 S. Elm Ave.., just south of Easton.
Detectives say that around 6:30 a.m. Hernandez allegedly pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money and cigarettes. He then left the store with the stolen items and fled in a gray Toyota Camry.
Detectives and patrol deputies gathered information about the vehicle and later located it at a home on the 3600 block of E. Grant Avenue in Fresno.
Detectives, assisted by the Adult Compliance Team (ACT), executed a search warrant at the house and found Johnny Hernandez. Deputies say Hernandez matched the description of the robbery suspect, and evidence was recovered that was tied to the robbery.
Officials report that in addition to the arrest of Hernandez, detectives also apprehended two women at the home for unrelated offenses. One had a warrant for evading police, while the other faced a warrant for probation violation. ...read more read less
