The suspect is a 21-year-old male and a resident of Norfolk, Nebraska. — Safety at Nebraska (@UNLPD) April 3, 2025 The suspect, a 21-year-old male and a resident of Norfolk, apparently made derogatory comments about the LGBTQ community, and then assaulted one person. UNL Police say the suspect is not affiliated with the university.  He’s been identified by KFOR’s media partner, 10/11 News, as Cale Wacker.
