Nordic Mountain begins construction on new lodge for 2025/26 winter season

MOUNT MORRIS, Wis. (WFRV) – Nordic Mountain has begun construction on a brand-new lodge set to open for the 2025/26 winter season.
Officials say the development will enhance the guest experience by providing improved amenities and a centralized hub for mountain activities. The new lodge will re
place the existing yurt adjacent to the current lodge and will house key guest services, including ticketing, snow school, retail, ski patrol, and a new food service outlet.

Designed with convenience and comfort in mind, the building will offer streamlined access to essential services in a modern and welcoming space. A spacious patio area will connect the new lodge to the existing one, creating a central gathering spot for skiers, snowboarders, and visitors.

Construction is expected to continue throughout the summer, leading up to the grand opening in time for the 2025/26 season.
