Police lights   (WCIV) — A hit-and-run in Orangeburg County left one pedestrian dead Thursday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The collision reportedly occurred at 3:35 a.m. on US 321 at River Rest Road. A report on the incident from the South Carolina Highway Patrol sta tes that the pedestrian was riding a bicycle southbound in the roadway when they were struck by two vehicles. Both vehicles fled the scene and the make and models on the involved vehicles are currently unknown at this time. The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries on scene.
