BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a Wednesday shooting that left a man dead.
Jayqon Bethley, 19, was shot multiple times around 12:10 p.m. in the 900 block of Rosenwald Road. BRPD said they believe an argument involving two unidentified indi
viduals led to the shooting in a parking lot.
"As Bethley and a passenger attempted to leave the area, one of the subjects fired multiple shots into his vehicle," according to BRPD.
Bethley drove himself to a hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the shooting.
