BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET)-- The Bakersfield Police Department has released March's crime statistics. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, 911 calls were up last month by 2,000 calls compared to February. Burglaries were also up by 28 last month, making the total 154. There were 13 6 vehicle thefts, 38 robberies, 2 homicides, 89 aggravated assaults and 6 rapes. All statistics are ones reported to BPD and they are subject to change.
