NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Calmer winds on the backside of Tuesday's windy system that has brought in below-normal temperatures in place with mostly dry air as despite a few light rain and snow showers in the Sierra Blanca Range with barely any precipitation in some of the southern mountains through the
southeast plains, as well the northern mountains, more clouds are being steered into the region with the strong upper-level jet stream out in front of the upper level-low storm system nearing the Four Corners, as temperatures are around or below the freezing mark in the northwestern two-thirds of the region, while leftover westerly persistent winds are once moving to the southeast with much milder air to start.
