Severe weather leaves 95,000 Hoosiers without power

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hoosiers across the state are waking up without electricity Thursday morning.
At 8 a.m., there were just over 95,000 people statewide without power, according to poweroutages.us.
In addition to homes and businesses, power outages are also affecting traffic lights. I
f the lights at an intersection are out or flashing red, treat it as a four-way stop.

Below are the number of people without electricity, sorted by provider. These numbers were last updated at 7 a.m.
AES Indiana: 24,000+
Anderson Light and Power: 9,026
CenterPoint Energy: 8,900
Duke Energy (statewide): 33,000+
Carmel: 1,000+
Westfield area: 2,000+
Fortville: 1,000+
Indiana Michigan Power: 7,000+
Jackson County REMC: 1,900
NIPSCO: 3,300+
There is no estimated time for when all repairs will be complete.
