ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Highway Patrol says a bicyclist was killed in a hit and run involving two vehicles overnight. Lance Corporal Brittany Glover says it happened at approximately 3:35 a.m. on U.S. Highway 321 at River Rest Road. According to Lance Corporal Glover, the pe destrian was on their bicycle travelling south in the roadway when two vehicles struck them. The victim died on scene from their injuries and both vehicles fled the scene. The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office is working on identifying the victim.
