HICKORY, NC- Catawba Valley Community College will name a new building after a NASCAR legend. The Dale Earnhardt Regional Complex is currently under construction at Hickory Regional Airport and will be owned by Catawba Valley Community College. It was previously named the CVCC Regional Workforce In novation Complex. The Dale Earnhardt Foundation gave the college a “generous” gift. The facility spans 98,000 square feet and is designed to provide advanced workforce training and will incorporate simulation technology and cutting-edge educational tools.
