AUSTIN (KXAN) - From pink and bubbly to an outdoor excursion at Zilker with your kite, here are some fun activities to do this weekend if the showers don't ruin the fun. Weekend Forecast We are watching for showers and thunderstorms through Saturday afternoon. Currently, there is a 60% chance of rain and storms for Saturday, with conditions calming down after a front arrives, dropping our temperatures to the mid-40s on Sunday morning. Temperatures on Sunday afternoon are looking to be in the low to mid-60s with mostly sunny skies. Weekend Forecast Barbie Pop-Up Malibu Barbie arrives in Austin with the Malibu Barbie Cafe. The interactive pop-up roller rink and restaurant will be open on Friday, April 4th, at 610 N Interstate Hwy 35 in Austin. There will be plenty to eat in the "fast-casual" menu, including desserts and drinks. The roller rink will be decked out in a throwback to the '70s with plenty of Malibu pink on hand. Proceeds from every skate rental will be donated to the American Red Cross. There will also be plenty of special events for you to participate in as well. Malibu Barbie Cafe details 97th Annual ABC Kite Fest It's an Austin tradition 97 years in the making, and it's finally arriving this Saturday! ABC Kite Fest takes flight once again at Zilker Park with kites flying in the sky! Kicking off at 10 a.m. with Mossfest (with performances from the Barton Hills Choir, Mr. Will, and Discotex), there will be plenty to do and see.
