(KRON) -- A body was found inside a car parked on the shoulder of Highway 101 in San Mateo Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). CHP received a call at 2:10 p.m. about a vehicle on the right shoulder of Highway 101's southbound lanes near Highway 92. Crews arrived at the scene and found a deceased adult in the backseat of the car, CHP said. No information is available at this time for the cause of death.
