Mass. DCR looking for volunteers for Park Serve Day

BOSTON (WWLP) - The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing to open the dozens of state park facilities for spring and summer, but needs the public's help.

ers for this year’s 19th annual Park Serve Day on April 26 and 27. From Nickerson State Park on Cape Cod to Mount Greylock State Reservation in the Berkshires, volunteers can help clean coastlines, clear trails, pick up litter, plant flowers, and paint and repair buildings, among other restorative projects.
Individuals, families and organizations are encouraged to register. Information on all the scheduled projects statewide and how to register can be found on the DCR website.
