ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The James Beard Awards, considered to be among the nation’s most prestigious honors, announced its 2025 Restaurant and Chef Award finalists Wednesday. Out of eight semi-finalists, one New Mexico restaurant made the cut. Japanese retailer Daiso sets opening dat e for first Albuquerque store Campo at Los Poblanos in Los Ranchos De Albuquerque was named among five finalists for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program—a national category. The farm-to-fork restaurant opened in 2017 at the Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm property and sources ingredients from its own fields and local farms. Its curated drink menu features wines made in New Mexico and others from across the world. The Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program award recognizes "A restaurant that demonstrates exceptional care and skill in the pairing of wine and other beverages with food," according to the James Beard Awards. Other category finalists include: Bar Brava in Minneapolis Charleston in Baltimore MARCH in Houston Strong Water in Anaheim, Calif.
