EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Nick and Cathy Rainone planted hundreds of trees on their property in Exeter, including two evergreens by the lake — one for each of them. Cathy died of ovarian cancer in 1996, and what happened to her tree left Nick overcome with emotion.
