Fire Department in Wisconsin responds to two 'significant' fires in 2hour span at auto salvage yard, motel

FRANKLIN, Wis. (WFRV) - Fire Departments in southeastern Wisconsin had a busy Wednesday morning, responding to two 'significant' fires near each other within two hours, one at an auto salvage yard and the other at a local motel.
Crews with the Franklin Fire Department were first called to an auto
salvage yard in the 10000 block of South 124th Street around 3:30 a.m. on April 2 after a fire, fueled by high winds, spread to several vehicles within a fenced lot of the business.
Driver accused of intentionally causing fatal motorcycle crash in Fond du Lac
Multiple nearby agencies were called in to assist, and the fire was brought under control just before 4:30 a.m.
As crews were returning from the fire at the auto salvage yard, dispatch began to receive multiple calls reporting a fire on the roof of a motel in the 8100 block of South 27th Street around 5:30 a.m.

Nearby departments were again called in, and authorities were able to verify that all of the motel's occupants had evacuated.
