MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 52-year-old Marinette County man was sentenced Wednesday to three years in prison, followed by five years of extended supervision, after being convicted of possessing child pornography back on January 27, 2025.
According to court
records, Brian Tornberg will also be required to register as a sex offender.

Tornberg was originally charged with three counts of possessing child pornography, but two were dropped following his no-contest plea.

MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) - The 52-year-old Marinette County man who was charged with possession of child pornography was found guilty of one count after a no-contest plea while two other charges were dismissed.
According to court records, Brian Tornberg pled freely and voluntarily on Monday. The court found him guilty of Count 1, while the other two were read-in but dismissed.
Tornberg's sentencing hearing is set for April 2 at 11 a.m.

MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) - A 51-year-old Marinette County man accused of possessing child pornography on several electronic devices appeared in court on Thursday, November 21.
Court records show that Brian Tornberg appeared in court via video with an attorney for an arraignment.
While in court, Tornberg reportedly pled not guilty to all charges and has requested a status conference which has been scheduled for January 27 at 3:00 p.m.

MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) - A 51-year-old Marinette County man accused of possessing child pornography on several electronic devices appeared in court on October 30.
Court records show that Brian Tornberg appeared in court via video with an attorney for a video conference.
During the video conference, Tornberg waived his preliminary hearing and had an arraignment scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on November 21.

MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) - A 51-year-old Marinette County man accused of possessing child pornography on several electronic devices had his adjourned initial appearance on Monday.
Wisconsin Circuit Court records show that Brian Tornberg, 51, from Porterfield, appeared by Zoom while in custody with an attorney, where a preliminary hearing was scheduled.
Tornberg's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 30, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Additionally, Tornberg had his arraignment scheduled for Nov. 6, 2024.

MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) - A 51-year-old Marinette County man has been officially charged after authorities located child pornography on several electronic devices.
Wisconsin Circuit Court records show that Brian Tornberg, 51, from Porterfield, is facing three counts of possessing child pornography.
Man arrested after asking several Wisconsin women for a hug and touching them inappropriately
According to the Marinette Police Department, in December of 2023, officers received information that suspected child sexual abuse material was located on electronic devices owned by Tornberg.
The Marinette Police Department obtained a search warrant for the electronic devices, and an analyst with the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation conducted an analysis of the devices and confirmed the presence of images of child pornography.
Tornberg appeared in the Marinette County Courthouse on Tuesday for his initial appearance, and the court ordered a $10,000 cash bond. His bond terms include not possessing or consuming alcohol, no unsupervised contact with children under 18, and no internet access.
