The west winds will gust near 50 mph with the strongest gusts on the east slopes. Winds will diminish overnight, skies will be partly cloudy, and the low will drop to 45.
FORECAST: Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy and cooler with a high of 65. Winds will be lighter and not strong enough to produce blowing dust. Friday will be partly to mostly cloudy with scattered light rain showers. We'll have a slight chance of isolated (non-severe) t-storms. Friday's high: 62. Saturday will be partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers. The west side will have the strongest winds as a cold front pushes in from the east. East winds will gust near 40 mph, and the high will be 54. Sunday will be a beautiful day with a high of 62. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy, and the winds will be light and variable.
