ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 60-year-old man was seriously injured after being hit by a car Wednesday at the intersection of Westfall and East Henrietta Roads. Rochester Police said the accident happened around 11:30 a.m. The man was found in the street with a significant upper body injury. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries. Police said the early investigation indicates he was struck by an SUV operated by another man in his 70s, who may not have seen the pedestrian while making a right hand turn.
