ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Drivers on I-90 can expect delays due to construction on a long stretch of road from Ontario to Monroe County. The construction is underway east of Exit 44 to west of Exit 45 — from Canandaigua Rt. 332 to Rochester I-490. It is expected to be finished by fall 2026. Also expected to close are parts of Willowbrook Road and Victor Egypt Road. A detour will be posted for several weeks. Closures on parts of Brownsville Road and High Street will be conducted at a later date. It is part of a $61.5 million pavement improvement project on the thruway — which includes improving the driving surface, milling and replacing the asphalt pavement on the Exit 44 and 45 ramps, and work on the bridge culverts.
