Tulsa police are investigating a shooting inside Walmart near 81st and Lewis. Police responded after several 911 calls about shots fired inside the store. When investigators got on the scene, they learned an off-duty Pawnee Coun ty sheriff's deputy working at the store as a security guard confronted the shooter and fired shots at the gunman. TPD officers formed a rescue team and searched the store for any possible shooters. They found one suspect hiding under a bridge near the store. Another suspect showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound. After he had been treated and released, they took him to the police for questioning. Police are still investigating what led to the initial shooting, the shots fired by the deputy, and the wound the suspect had.
